Applications can be processed quicker if we receive detailed information from the beginning. Here is a checklist of the information we need, which should be provided in the form of a business or project plan and cover the following points:
Company
Owners, group relationship (if any), organization, key personnel, the nature of the business, annual report, trends and partners.
Background
Mission statement, development concept, timetable, activities and targets.
Technical background
Production, patents, competing technology, purchasing issues and suppliers.
Market
Current situation and marketing plan. Competitors, prices, market shares and quality. Market segmentation, product positioning and geographical breakdown. Exports and distribution channels.
Financing
Cash flow statement and co-financing.
Profitability
Sales forecasts, product and project estimates.
Risks and opportunities
Financial, technical, patent-related and commercial risks. The competence and longevity of the company, its management and partners.
